OUR STORY
We started ElevatEd not just as teachers, but as mums —mums who know what it’s like to want the very best for our children. Between us, we have almost 40 years of teaching experience, and one thing has always been clear: every child learns differently and has different learning needs. As teachers, we pour our hearts into differentiating lessons, adapting materials, and trying to reach every learner — but the reality is, the fewer children in a room, the more opportunity there is to truly personalise learning. And with class sizes only growing, we found ourselves increasingly frustrated. We knew what our students needed, but we simply couldn’t give it to them within the constraints of a traditional classroom.
That’s where ElevatEd began.
We wanted to create a space where every child could be seen, heard, and taught in a way that works for them. Through private tuition, home learning, counselling, and educational advice for ages 4–18, we’re able to design tailor-made sessions that build confidence, unlock understanding, and help students love learning again. Whether your child needs to be stretched and challenged or needs a different approach to grasp a tricky concept, we adapt our teaching to suit their unique style — not the other way around.
We’ve seen students grow in confidence, fall back in love with learning, and achieve results they never thought possible. Every family begins their journey with a free initial consultation with our founders. During this detailed session, we take the time to get to know your child, reviewing school reports and assessment data, listening to parental concerns, and, most importantly, speaking directly with the student. Academic & Wellbeing Coaching supports students in developing the skills and mindset they need to thrive both in and beyond the classroom. Through one-to-one coaching and counselling, students are guided in managing stress, academic pressure, and transitions, while building confidence, emotional resilience, and effective habits. Areas of focus include growth mindset, self-esteem, motivation, time management, sleep, and overall emotional wellbeing, empowering each student to reach their full potential with balance and confidence.
